 What is that little thing that makes all the difference between earning £20K a year and £20K a week?……..it’s something called star quality. We call it “The Shine” and it’s one of life’s many mysteries that we are going to take a closer look at in this article.

There are literally loads of film stars, musicians, sport stars and TV persona’s out there not to mention those from the fashion and model world. Some stars have more star quality or “the X Factor” going on than others, and those same stars may shine brightly one day and be a flickering candle the next, but it’s always there. It’s one thing all these stars have in common, and we think it’s something that comes from within and you are born with it!

This star quality can be and is manufactured and surrounded with hype, but you normally tend to find the hyped stars never last long and are forgotten as quickly as they arrived unless they have “The Shine” thing going on. Marilyn Monroe had “The Shine” going on in a big way and is still remembered now after her death and can count some current female celebrities as their idol including Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox!

In showbiz circles it’s called “Star Quality” but down at street level where most people live it’s called “Charisma”. What ever you call it people either have it or they don’t and this I think personally doesn’t change much throughout a person’s lifetime and money can’t buy it!

The Charlize Theron photo (above)  caught our eye from our new Paparazzi photo and video blog called “Fox Hollywood“  now coming out of BETA and starting to rock! In this photo it’s very unusually chucking it down in LA and Charlize Theron dressed casually still looks a picture. She is unphased by the whole situation whilst out shopping even looking  happy.

Even in these grim conditions that “Star Quality” is very much evident, like a bright light on a miserable winters day in LA, something no amount of rain will ever put out!

It’s one of the pillars to the secret of being a star. There are many others but Talent is also another important element that will be looked at in more detail in a future blog post but sometimes, as many people are aware, this is not always the case. Jedward on the current X Factor being a prime example “Star Quality” 10/10 Talent=Zero!

We think “The Shine” is also a genetic thing that runs in families. Goldie Hawn  the famous actress (below) and mother to another famous actress that being Kate Hudson (also below) renowned on this site for her red carpet “wow” presence is a prime example of “The Shine” being passed down through the generations. There are many other examples including Kirk Douglas and son Michael Douglas, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise an actress in the making if ever there was….she’s currently 3,  and Billy Ray Cyrus father to Miley Cyrus being yet another, the Barrymore family being the most obvious example.

Sometimes “The Shine” is just a faint “something” to the untrained eye that you just can’t put your finger on, but to the trained eye it jumps out like a bolt of lightning and you can see it. If this star quality is something you are born with, it might explain why many stars become who they are at a very young age, as this happens too many times for it to be a coincidence and gives us reason to suspect  “The Shine” theory may be more than just a theory!
